Brass Beluga, 2021

This project utilizes approximately 200 eye hooks, 150 brass tubes/ wooden dowels, and 300 yards of fishing line to form overlapping sine waves below the swimming Brass Beluga.

It is hung above a large stairwell, which made the installation a bit of a challenge, but the results are beautiful. I love the way that the light catches the brass wave as it is cresting, which adds another dynamic element to the piece.

I am fortunate to have collaborated with Dan from Retrofit Reality to get this project up and running. Big thanks to him for all the help with this one!
